Before joining Research Diets Inc., I received my undergraduate degree in Food Engineering and Technology from The Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai, India and received my PhD in Nutritional Sciences from Rutgers University. During my doctoral studies I studied the impact of raspberry ketone, a weight loss supplement, in high-fat (D12451) fed mice. I am experienced in designing and conducting metabolic studies that evaluate the interaction of diet-induced phenotypes with dietary supplements, their pharmacokinetics, and their effects on the meal microstructure of mice, as assessed by the BioDAQ system. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, and visiting the various national parks in the US. My knowledge and hands-on experience in nutritional sciences provide me the background and skills to support researchers with their study design and diet formulation needs.
I will be attending
